Fri. 7:00 pm Drum Workshop at the Drum Kiva Drum technique and how rhythms fit into Middle Eastern music. A traditional Turkish piece and a well known fusion piece will be used.
9:30 pm Ensemble Al-Asdeka performance at the 3rd stage.
Sat. 1:00 pm Ensemble Al-Asdeka with Sarah Mayne and Garbha Grha at the 2nd stage
3:30 pm Rhythms, Music and Dance workshop at the drum kiva with Sarah
Mayne and Ensemble Al-Asdeka. Middle eastern drum rhythms, musical phrases
and how the dance movements reflect the music.
Sun 3:00 Drum workshop at the drum kiva, Ornamentaion of basic ME rhythmns
and if there is interest, drum solo form and technique (to be used for dancers)
